Kindra Parker

Detroit native Kindra Parker earned a B.A. in Public Relations from Wayne State University Additionally, she studied Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Upon graduation, she worked as a freelance publicist for major and independent recording artists coordinating street-team campaigns, leading marketing and PR efforts, and planning events.

In 2009 Kindra founded and served as VP and Executive Director of The J Dilla Foundation a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission was to help fund and develop inner-city music programs, and provide scholarships to students attending schools that have progressive music curricula. In 2011 Kindra moved on to establish Larimar Entertainment, an avant-garde Consulting and Marketing Company specializing in events, social media, and entertainment. Kindra has worked in the marketing industry for 20+ years and is dedicated to exposing, developing, and guiding choice brands and artists as an innovative business consultant and progressive marketing and events manager. In 2019 she established nonprofit 501(c)3 MentorHer Ghana to guide Ghana’s daughters with support, resources, and creative thinking tactics while cultivating personal & professional skills to advance themselves, their community, and the African Diaspora. in her spare time she curates her music discovery platform Musique I Love.

Kwame Owusu Bright

Kwame Owusu bright is a Kwahu native and social entrepreneur with a passionate interest in changing the narrative of community development. He serves as an on-site director and a local host for tourists visiting the Kwahu Traditional Area with his tour company Let’s Tour Kwahu!

With seasoned experience in government, private company, and nonprofit sectors. Kwame has a firm understanding of community needs, youths, and the elderly as he’s worked as a Municipal Supervisor, research personnel, and social strategist. He holds an associate degree in information systems and has also acquired certificates in business management and professional ethics.

Ama boakye

Kwahu, Ghana

Programs Manager

Ama Boakye was born and raised in Belgium. She has a master in Educational Sciences from the Free University of Brussels & post graduate in Life Coaching from Artevelde University of Applied Sciences in Gent. She worked internationally as an education consultant for 5 years. Working for different governments and universities and companies, her job contained coaching teachers and principals, working on curriculum development and giving training. These jobs contributed to the betterment of the education of the youth. Ama always worked with youth and communities. In Belgium she collaborated in organizing after school activities for children, since she was 14 years old. She also worked with youth in Peru, Brazil and Ghana. Collaborating with people together to have a social impact is what she strives for. Since January 2020 Ama is settled in Ghana, the country of birth from her father. Even though she already coaches and helps people on their life journey for 8 years. She started her own business only 2 years ago. In her business she helps clients individually, in groups or through courses with their self development and personal and spiritual growth

ShaKura “Tiki” Tolliver

US Vice President, Board Chair

Detroit Native, ShaKura “Tiki” Tolliver holds a B.S. in Marketing Management. She is a marketing professional with over 20 years of experience developing and implementing strategic brand plans for multiple international consumer goods companies. Most recently, as a Marketing Manager at Brother International, where she is responsible for managing the small office/home office printer category. Before her work at Brother, Tiki managed brands at B&G Foods and high-end spirits brands at Pernod Ricard, where she led the experiential and influencer marketing program for Martell Cognac and William Grant & Sons, creating the companies first “Multicultural Marketing Program” for Hendrick’s Gin.

Tiki is also a U.S. Army veteran, having served time in Germany, Croatia, and Bosnia. Her recent travels to Africa inspired her to co-found MentorHer Ghana, a nonprofit mentoring organization for girls in Ghana. She now serves as the US Vice President and Board Chair for the organization.
